Sticky Menu disappears when scrolling on mobile

Hi Tom,

I just began working on a new website, using the latest version of GP Premium for the first time. GeneratePress was awesome before, but it's even shinier now!! I especially love the transparent navigation option in the header. :)

I have run into a challenge, and I can't seem to find an effective solution.

The sticky menu option is enabled for both desktop and mobile, but for some reason on the mobile, the sticky menu disappears once I scroll down past the bottom of the header hero image. The logo and navigation are transparent at the top (as I want), and when I scroll down the page the sticky menu fades in (as I want), but once I get down to the actual content, the sticky menu is nowhere to be found.

A few other oddities have occurred today (I'm certain as a result of my efforts to manipulate the CSS well beyond my current abilities, haha), so I completely cleaned my site (back to the WP default), flushed the cache from my server, restarted my computer and phone, and built it back up from the beginning. All the other strange behaviors cleared up, but the mystery of the disappearing mobile sticky menu remains.

If you have any advice, it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Patricia :)

p.s. The only plugins I have installed are GP Premium + 3 GP plugins and the default Akismet (which I have not activated).

Hi Patricia,

Glad you like the new version!

That's very odd - is there any way you can link me to your site?

Let me know :)

Thanks, Tom! The update works perfectly! :)

Awesome! Thanks for pointing it out :)

Hi there, having the same issue as Patricia where the Sticky Menu does not show. I could not find your solution in this post, can you share please.
Here is the link for the site: http://provinciawebdesign.com/client/hc/

Thanks in advance!!

Hi Joseph,

What a nice website! :)

For me, the problem resolved as soon as I disabled the plugin "Async JavaScript." For good measure, I deleted it entirely. I then reinstalled, reactivated, and reconfigured it exactly as it was before, and I haven't had a problem since.

Good Luck!

Patricia
