Static image not showing on some post previews

Hi,
my site is: theholocenemedia.com
I have inserted an image at the top of each post. I am trying to work out why some previews on my homepage show the image, and some do not. I want them all to show the image. Any help would be great.

I'm not exactly sure I understand what the goal is.
Can you provide any mockup images of what you're trying to achieve? Are you trying to have a Hero section?
