[Support request] Static Header (not sticky header) – header does not reload during page change

Hi Team,

Wondering if there is a way to force the header to not reload when the page transitions.

An example of this is https://infinum.com/

It looks like barba.js is being used on this site, however I don’t have the expertise to implement this..

Is there any guidance on implementing a static header with generatepress?

Hi Chris,

It’s not reloading because all pages are already loaded. It’s similar to a Tab feature.

Sorry but support for such a feature would be out of our scope as well. I found this article though about that JS: https://www.fjobeir.com/implement-barba-js-with-wordpress/

I’m not sure if this article shows how you implement such a functionality. It would be best to reach out to a developer regarding this.
