    Hello,
I uploaded a file on the server, see below.

What is going on here, why the svg text file is changing, when i look at the source code of the post?
otherwise, all is fine, in normal view and when i post the post.
any idea? or is this normal?

And now, after showing this funny code.
My reusable block is broken again.
i posted this yesterday over there Reusableblock problem

i just did the block again, see the green one and after trying it to place it on here on the topic post url, it broke. see picture 2.
the block is just gone and on all pages i post it in.

    funny stuff now…

ps. please ignore the NO SVG in the title, as i have it added later

    Hi there,

regarding the SVG code – well definitely isn’t normal but is a thing, as i can replicate the issue. We’ll take a look at that.

I’ll have a play to see if it breaks a re-usable block.

I face since quite some time problems with google mobile.
have a look, at attach images.
google search console, when the problem started and see an update of the plugin.
the last 2 images, show my google cache.
but only google cache comes up with this look.
i try everything to solve this problem, including blaming siteground hosting.

But my guess is now, that this makes sense, as the code change with SVG.
and i mostly use them to gain speed.

What ever brwoser you use, desktop or mobile, all looks fine, but not the google cache.
this is very critical, as mobile-first is coming now.
    thanks

    Hey Atefan,

We were able to replicate this issue – seems to be an issue in WP 5.7.

    Will look into a fix.

    Thanks for mentioning it!

    Hi Leo,
I will now certainly not argue when the problem started. as the days were grueling for me. it is important to me to look good on google, as my customer expects that. and currently, I do not look good there and am waiting with great hope for an update.

    Thank you

Sorry, one thing I just notice is when you use custom HTML and place it like that,

    <img class="style-svg aligncenter" src="https://www.xxx/icon.svg">

    the code does not blink.

Yes, this is an issue with the sanitize code we use in GenerateBlocks to make sure SVG doesn’t contain any bad code.

We’ll be releasing an update this week to prevent the flashing from happening.
