Split Template in Site library

Hi,
I'm using the Split template from the site library. Is there a way to add a 'load more' or 'read more' button below the posts on the homepage?
So you can click load more and it'll take you to a URL that I can specify elsewhere?
Maybe a blog or shop?

Is there a way to center the button and make it wider?
It's sitting away on the left hand side and I'll like to make it more obvious please?
