Ok, so I should remove the Social Icon Plugin and replace it with a block / hook? 🙂

You can if you want. GenerateBlocks has a button block and this button block allows you to make an icon button.

It comes w/ the most used social media icons. You can assign links to each one of them, similar to Lightweight Social Icons. :D
