Specific logo on homepage

I have a white bg on hero section / home page I need the dark logo instead of the white logo that i need on internal pages which I set in the customizer. I tried different ways such as the header element without success. I wish there was site library or a block section in the library That have this feature that I can use . Not intuitive at all

Hi there,
in Appearance > Elements you have a Header Element for creating the merged header.
And that is set to the Entire Site.
If you edit that and Exclude the Front Page.
Then create an identical header element for the Front Page and on the Site Header tab you can change the Logo just for that page

Thank you so much for the support. Your suggested solution worked perfectly and I am extremely happy with the outcome. I wish I could have achieved all of this in one instance instead of having to create additional elements, but I am still extremely satisfied with the results.
