I use GeneratePress with Elementor Page Builder. My problem is that there is a huge space between the header and the first section I include with Elementor.

How can I make sure that there is no space between the header and the first line of any page?

    Thank you.

Hmm not sure what you mean? This is all I see: https://s21.postimg.org/6flkyl3nr/2017-06-18_0811.png

Yes. Between the heading and the “first line” of the page there is a huge gap. The Header’s padding is only 10 pixels…

Check Customizer > Layout > Container > Top Content Padding

Much better, thank you Leo! 🙂

Just picking up on this thread, i have the same issue of space below the header and the next element, which in this case is an image slider.

Using GPPro and Elementor, i have inserted the Elementor header shortcode in to the ‘After Header’ GP Hook but i am getting the gap between elements.

I have tried the above recommended fix ‘Check Customizer > Layout > Container > Top Content Padding’ but i don’t have the ‘Top Content Padding’ option.

Any ideas? The site can be viewed at http://sekoya.konstructstudios.co.uk/

    Hi there,

    couple of things:

    Customiser > Layout > Container:
    1. Content Layout:- set to single container.
    2. Content Padding, of which there is Desktop and Mobile – change the Top values to zero.

Thanks again for your help David. It was my fault, i hadn’t activated the ‘spacing’ feature in GPP so i couldn’t see the options.

    Regards,

    Lee
