Space above footer

Hi Support team, sorry, it seems a lot of people have written about this one issue, but I've read through so many of the forum tickets and none of the solutions work for my issue. I've disabled all plugins and cleared cache.
The issue is a white space above the footer. I made the Footer Widget Area Padding 0, which seems to fix the issue on desktop. But not on mobile view. still seeing white space. I checked container margin too, and if there was any extra spacing added.
Also, on desktop, there seems to be about a 10 pixel white space just to the right of footer element. Weird.
I'll send screenshots.

go to Customizer > Layout > Footer and set the number of Widgets to 0

Not sure why it got toggled on because it wasn't before I don't think, but oh well, it's working now. No space
