hi all, this just started happening in the last week or so. i didn't really notice when it happened.

i have a png logo assigned in the customizer.

you can see the assigned logos have a grey 'swish' to dot the i, but the logo in the header seems to get that grey bit stripped out now?

i tried removing the logo and replacing it with the same file, and the same thing happens.

when i right click the logos in the customizer panel to view the image, the swish is there (and it's using a scaled version despite me assigning the unsized png). when i view the image from the header, there's no swish (and it says it's the unscaled version, but if you look at that in the media library, it has the swish.)

what happened and how can i get it to display the right logo?

Hi there,

can you try renaming the file and replacing it in the customizer ? WP has a funny habit of 'caching' image files so a new filename is required.

that's annoying. sorry i didn't try that first. it fixed it.

and THANK YOU as always! :)

Ooh it catches me out all the time... silly WordPress :)

Glad to be of help.
