    Hi,

First, thanks for such a wonderful theme 🙂

I’m experiencing a weird issue, but I’m not sure 100% if it is due to GP. Basically, I set my categories to show only sub-categories when they exist, otherwise they just show products. This works perfectly fine in all categories EXCEPT the one I linked in the private info. That category has 3 subcategories, yet is only showing one of them for some reason.

You can reach the 3 of them by using the top menu: Decoracion > Elementos decorativos and opening each of them. URL structure is the same in the 3 of them.

I don’t know why this is happening, it works fine for all the other categories. I have already saved permalinks, reindexed facetwp, purged autooptimize and Breeze caches, and synced WPML taxonomies. Have also updated from WP 5.6 to 5.7 and the problem continues. Ah, and also checked they are correctly hierarchized, actually I set the categories to have no parent and then assigned the correct parent again.

    Something I might be skipping?

EDIT: just realized “elements decorativos” doesn’t appear under it’s parent category either: “Decoracion”.

    Thanks a lot and regards,

    Hi there,

    It’s absolutely weird.

Will you be able to disable all plugins except GP Premium and Woocommerce to test if there’s any plugin conflicting with it?

    Let me know 🙂

    Hi Ying,

Here to add some more weird stuff on top of it. “Elementos decorativos” does now appear in “Decoración”.

The other problem still persists though. I have tried to disable plugins, and I could disable most of them.

These are the scenarios I had trouble with:

    – If I disable Facetwp, products and categories are not shown at all.
    – If I disable ACF, my site breaks OR just shows the header (tried deleting all code in functions.php too from the child theme, nothing changed).
    – If I disable WPML, my categories turn into English instead of being in Spanish (??). Still, I can access the Spanish categories by using the menu, and the problem persists (“elementos decorativos” only shows 1 instead of the 3).
    – Bot Protection plugin is “mandatory”

So, that leaves us with these plugins activated: GP, GP Premium, WC, FacetWP, Bot protection. And the problem is still there.

    🙁

Will you be able to create a staging site which you can play around and test without the risk of making the site broken?

You could use a plugin like WP staging: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-staging/

Then use the private info field to provide the credential of the staging site, so we can go in and have a look.

    Let me know 🙂

    Hi,

I duplicated my website into a staging area. Find all the login details in the “private information” area.

    Thank you,

I logged in and switched the site to twenty twenty one theme, disabled all plugins except Woocommerce and FacetWP, the issue is still there.

I would assume it’s coming from one of these 2 plugins.

It’s better go contact these 2 plugins’ support.

Let me know how it goes 🙂

I should’ve tried that too, sorry.

    Thanks for the testing.
