[Support request] Social Media Share Icons

I know GP includes the Lightweight Social Icons, and I like them. But, when I click on the Pinterest icon, it takes me to MY Pinterest account.

What I am looking for is a way is s visitor to be able to click on a Pinterest social icon and be able to pin my post image(s) to their Pinterest account/boards. Is that possible with the builtin GP Lightweight Social Icons or do I have to get another social media share plugin to accomplish that?

If I can use the GP Lightweight Social Icons for that, I would like to place the GP icon at the top of the posts. Is there a way to do that?

Lightweight Social Icons is a separate plugin – and it only provides Social Links … not shares.

Hello Amazing Generate Press People…

I am aware you are not the developers of the gp-social-share-svg plugin but I was wondering if you might have a idea why this plugin is not working on my site.

I am assuming, because it has not been tested with my version of WordPress?

Seems it was last updated 4 months ago?

I activated anyway to check,went to setting to adjust colours and Wordfence Security gave me and error and asked me if I wanted to whitelist the request, which I did..

However, I am not able see or to change the colours? Icons are black and white and no active links…

I have 3 sites I would like to use it on

I have not been able to find a simple lightweight social share plugin yet (don’t need share counts)

Any other suggestions?

We’ve had numerous report that the plugin has some issues but we are not sure why as it’s not our product unfortunately.

Have you checked with the plugin author?

Unfortunately I’m not aware of a lightweight social share plugin either.
