Hello Tom,
I am using Light Weight Social Icons in a widget on the left side bar and in the footer.
I would like them to look like they do on the GeneratePress.com site footer. Icon on the left and text to the right of them. Is there a way to do that?

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperI’m just using Font Awesome for the links in the footer: http://fontawesome.io/icons/
Just the HTML next to the title in a custom menu 🙂

When I’m not logged in in wordpress I see instead of the Icons kind of japanese signs…any solution why?

I took the liberty to test your site in Pingdom, and found that font file “fontello.woff” is loading from a different site/domain of yours (.org).
Based on my research, font issues occur only when loading it across domain. To prevent this issue, you may do one of these things:
Host the .woff and other font files in the same domain.
or
Add necessary .htaccess code in your .org site so as to allow CORS.
David Walsh’s blog has this info. https://davidwalsh.name/cdn-fontsJuly 5, 2016 at 11:08 am #206749anngi

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperRamesh is correct – your URL set in “Settings > General” is different than the URL you’re typing into your browser.
Font icons only work if the URL you’re visiting matches the URL linking to the font files.
The solution Ramesh posted above is your best bet 🙂

running a pingdom test, I’ve got one issue with the bellow query string.
“Resources with a “?” in the URL are not cached by some proxy caching servers. Remove the query string and encode the parameters into the URL for the following resources:”
lightweight-social-icons/fonts/fontello.woff?13736647
The plugin “Remove query strings from static resources” has been installed which help other issues.
Cheers
