[Resolved] "Social Media Feather" and sections

Hi

I am using “Social Media Feather” plugin

with a sectioned post the share icons appear after every section ?
see here http://sykic.co.uk/andbeyond/2016/02/18/sections/
Not what I was expecting guess might be required in some applications

It is possible to just have the share icons at the bottom of the post?

Is there an option in that plugin to manually place the code so it doesn’t have to automatically do it?

There is this option
Use Shortlinks Allows for shortened URLs to be used when sharing content if a shortening plugin is installed

I am not using it I don’t have a shortening plugin

Happy to use another sharing social plugin if you know of one that works
Was using yours but wanted sharing as well as following

Ok I found a solution.

While editing the page with sections, use the instructions listed here (2nd item): https://wordpress.org/plugins/social-media-feather/faq/

If you don’t see a “Custom Fields” metabox, click the “Screen Options” tab at the top right and make sure “Custom Fields” is checked.

Now click “Enter New” and add this key: synved_social_exclude_share

With a value of: yes

Then click “Add Custom Field”.

Now in the section of your choice where you want the icons to show up, add the shortcode: [feather_share]
