Have you set the “Theme Location” of the menu? Open your menu in “Appearance > Menus” and set the “Theme Location” to “Primary Menu”.
Let me know 🙂April 14, 2015 at 9:31 pm #98605Joseph J Ali
I agree with Tom. You have to set the theme location to display links in nav bar. If, you are going to add social media share buttons on top of the page, you also need to set widget bar mentioned in appearance.April 14, 2015 at 11:02 pm #98647TomLead DeveloperLead Developer
You can also use the built in FontAwesome social icons in your navigation bar to show social icons 🙂 http://generatepress.com/forums/topic/social-networks-buttons-on-nav-menu-bar/April 15, 2015 at 12:32 am #98672Maxime Corbisier

I’m seeing items in your navigation? It does look like your theme location is set, so now you should be able to go to “Appearance > Menus” and add items to your menu, then save.April 17, 2015 at 11:22 am #99595Maxime Corbisier
When i add a link in my primary menu, nothing appears in fact. I don’t know why … :/April 17, 2015 at 10:45 pm #99709TomLead DeveloperLead Developer
When you save the menu, does the menu item disappear?
Maybe try increasing your memory limit?: http://generatepress.com/knowledgebase/increasing-memory-limit/April 20, 2015 at 5:42 am #100377Maxime Corbisier
I think i’ve found the problem!
I’ve used “Menu social icons” and when i’ve desactived it … My links appears! Miracle 😀
Now, i search how to put a favicon in place of my name link 🙂
Thanks for all !April 20, 2015 at 5:52 am #100379Maxime Corbisier
Could you tell me where I can find the exact class name of my social media link ?April 20, 2015 at 8:47 am #100445TomLead DeveloperLead Developer
The class names for the social media icons?
Go to Font Awesome’s site, and click on the icon you wish to use – it will tell you the class name.
Facebook would be:
<i class="fa fa-facebook"></i>
