Social Icons in Primary navigation (Menu)

Hello,
I would like to add into my primary navigation (which is my main menu set as sticky) two social icons, one for facebook and one for instagram.
How can i achieve this?

Hi Leo,
I followed the instructions and added Better Font Awesome and also added the icons in my menu, but then two things happened:
1. The icons are not appearing correctly, i see two rectangles on the right but not really an image. Is there a way to fix this?
2. Is it possible that when people click on the facebook or instagram icon to open the link in another tab?

1. Can you try prefix of fa instead of fab?

Also just to mention that the fab prefix didn't work because that's using FA5.
