    Hello!
I created my social icons using Elements/Hooks. When I hover over them on the Appearance -> Customize page, they cannot be clicked on. There is a circle with a line through it so that I cannot click on the links.
I’ve double checked and the links themselves are correct. What is causing this?

    Thanks,
    Jean

    Hi Jean,

Any chance you can link us to the site in question?

You can use the private information field.

    Let me know πŸ™‚

Are you referring to the social icons next to the search bar and the social icons in footer on home page?

They are all clickable in front end, your issue is they can’t be clicked in customizer?

Hi! Yes, the social icons to the right of the search bar and in the footer on home page.
Yes! In the customizer, when I hover over each icon, the circle with the line through it shows up so that I can’t click on it. I can click on pages that are within the website (my own created pages), but any type of social link is not clickable.
    Thank you for your help!

In customizer you are not supposed to be directed to another website, it’s out of the box of customizer πŸ™‚

    So it’s completely normal.
