In the last GPP Update I have noticed that since doing this, that I bow don't have the social media icons on my website at
Can you let me know how I can get round this, because the widget area has also changed as well, with the Gutenburg update
I look forward to your reply

Hi there,
where were the social icons added and how were they added e.g PLugin ?
No it wasn't a plugin, but through the GPP widget on my site and they were showing under the follow me title
Its very confusing.
Ah ok - so its the Zoom Social Icons plugin.
I haven't used that plugin - if you edit the widget does it display what should be displayed?
Yes but the problem is, that in the Widgets section of WP, they are now in blocks and very difficult to adjust to suit
Any ideas on how to get round this. I have tried YouTubing it, but with no luck
Do your have the Gutenberg Plugin installed ? ie. this:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/gutenberg/
If so disable and delete it - it is not required and is adding Experimental features that should not be used on a live site. In early days of WP 5 it was required but not today.
Yes I do, but will delete it now
Brilliant. Just deactivated and Deleted it and now I have my old widget area back.
Thanks for your help, I would never have thought of that.
Glad to be of help
