Smooth Scrolling not working

Hi team,
For some reason, my smooth scroll feature is not working on the site. I have got a rather fresh install of WordPress and the latest up to date theme and plugins. I have activated the smooth scroll feature via the Appearance > Customise section as well as adding the "smooth-scroll" class to the anchor link.
Things I have troubleshot already:
- Deactivated plugins one by one
- Updated all plugins and theme
- Checked to see if the script was loading over HTTP instead of HTTPS
- Disabled ad blocker on the browser
- No console errors
- Tested in both Chrome and Firefox and still not working
I can not for the life of my figure out why it isn't working! Any ideas?

can you provide a link to a page where we can see the issue ?
Same issue here. Fresh install on wordpress 5.5.3 and smooth-scroll are not working neither in the menu nor when adding the smooth-scroll class on page links. I can't provide a link as I am working on my localhost for the moment.

Allright, will upload the website online and open a new ticket then.
If it's resolved, maybe it would be interesting to post the solution here for everyone as a lot of people seems to have this issue?
