This is not a GP issue, I’m pretty sure. May be a Google Fonts issue, but when I try to use quotes in my site’s tagline, the first set of quote marks are reversed. I did a search for this issue, but couldn’t find anything relevant.

Interesting – have you tried a different font? Same issue?
Just appears to be the IM Fell font family. All the other ones I tried have straight quotes, not curly ones.
Most likely an issue with that font then – very strange.
Unless my eyes were playing tricks on me, I could have sworn the quote marks were displayed properly in the Customizer at one point.
Hmm, I can’t think of anything in the Customizer that could alter the text like that.
Keep an eye out and let me know if you see it happen again.
