small square showing instead of icon next to FILTER in Niche template

Hello,
I have a small square showing instead of a proper icon next to FILTER in Niche template.

How can I correct this please. I have done a debbug and disabled all plugins incl. cache but I still have this.

can you set the Customizer > General Icon Type to Font.
