[Resolved] Slow website, favicon loads slowly

Hi,
my website is loading slow and I´m trying to find issues and fix them.
I just found that the favicon is loading slowly. Do you know why and how I can fix this?

I am seeing a different favicon image being requested and it is loading quickly.
Did you resolve this ?

thanks for the fast response. I now get this. It seems that it´s loading 2 favicons…

Try clearing any cache plugins, if the ‘issue’ persists try disabling the cache plugin.

I disabled it but it still loads two favicons but if there is no quick fix, it´s not a big deal I think..

The request for the icon is being made in a cached JS file – i am not sure why or what is causing that though.

I wouldn’t be concerned about it being there or in general how long it takes to load – browsers know that the favicon is not required to render the page so it defers loading it.
