Slow site with GP theme

I just bought GP and installed it on a staging site. However, the initial speed results are disastrous. LCF of 9s, for example.
There seem to be a lot of render blocking resources...
Is there any level of support to help me figure out what's happening?

I've checked the results and even did more with GTMetrix and Webpagetest.org.
First-byte time/server initial response seems to be the biggest issue and this one isn't caused by the theme. This generally means the server your site is hosting on is quite slow.
Consider testing on a known good quality server and see if it improves.

As for this one, it's a mix of generatepress + all the plugins you're using. You need to use caching and optimization plugins to improve this. Most users use WP Rocket, Autoptimize, Litespeed Cache and/or whatever plugin their host recommends.(some have built-in).
Other issues would be the scripts used on your site. Some of the scripts from the plugins you use are old, some are unused but is still being loaded.
