Slow Google Site Speed - Eliminate Render Blocking

I’ve recently changed over to GeneratePress and have been working on my blogging site. The two main contributors per Google are:

1. Eliminate render-blocking resource
2. Use HTTP/2

This is more obvious on mobile but still an issue on desktop / tablet.

I am not a techie so do not understand coding. Can you please assist?

Hi there,

1. You can use several plugins to optimize your site - theres a great article here on how to do that:

I linked to the first plugin which is using Autoptimize and related plugins.

2. Check with your Host - they should be able to ensure your sites response is set to HTTP2 and has valid headers to ensure Google sees them.
