Slideshow on Frontpage

Hi, we're kinda 'rebuilding' our homepage. On our old homepage we have a slideshow (metaslider, incl. a background image). How can I make it to have this slideshow between header and blog post overview?

Does the slider plugin offer a shortcode?
If so, you could use a hook element to insert the shortcode in the content area, choose Frontpage as location, choose generate_after_header or after_heaader as the hook, tick the Execute Shortcodes box before publishing.
