slider without using elementor or plugin?

Hi,
I want to have a slider section, and made one using elementor (free version only at the moment).
It worked fine until this recent update, but now the slider section has disappeared. I was wondering if there is a way to make a slider section using only GP?

Sliders are a plugin requirement so no option in GP. For free options worth checking out Meta Slider or Smart Slider 3.
