    Hi

This is a brilliant theme. However I think its missing one key component. A slider.

I woud assume it is possible to set up a slider. However do you have any documentation on how to use another plugin?

I have tried to use other slider plugins and there are either errors or the picture stays on the right side of the page.

I am looking for some user friendly documentation to help set up a slider to user sich that the slider is just below the header then the content on the home page.

In addition some sort od line between the slider and the content just so it is visually neat.

Please do let me know your thoughts.

After this can i suggest that you put a slider as an addon in your next update.

    many thanks

    Hi there,

I thought about including some sort of slider, but I figured there’s already so many great slider plugins out there, it would be better to make sure they all work with GP, and let them focus on creating great sliders, while I focus on the theme itself.

That being said, every well developed slider should work flawlessly with GP.

The place the slider below the header and above the content, you would need to:

    a) Use the Page Header addon – simply add the slider’s shortcode into the “Content” section.
    b) Write your own little PHP function that hooks into the ‘generate_after_header’ hook which includes the shortcode.

For example, I add a slider or two in the videos for the Page Header: http://www.generatepress.com/knowledgebase/generate-page-header/

Let me know if you have any questions 🙂
