slider homepage full widt

Hi there,
From Tom, I received a CSS-Code that changes / minimizes the width of a page without sidebar. Now I have the problem that silders width that I install on those pages by inserting an [id] in the text area, is also limited. But despite the width of the page, I would like the slider to take full width. What's to do?

Little hard to tell without your page but I believe you can use the page header add-on:

Insert the slider shortcode in page header content:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/page-header-content/
Then you can set it to full width:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/page-header-content/#container
