Slide-Out Navigation

Hi,
I'm trying to just display the slide-out navigation on both mobile/desktop WITHOUT the normal text navigation links. But unfortunately whatever I try it displays BOTH the normal text navigation AND the slide-out/3-bar icon. I've tried unticking options in Appearance > Menus, but that either removes the 3-bar icon and leaves the text links or removes both.
I've searched the forum but just can't find a solution, there must be a setting but I just can't seem to find it.
Attached are screenshots of my menu settings and how it currently displays:

Any help much appreciated.
Hi there,
Try creating a separate menu without any items in it and set it to primary.
Let me know.
Worked perfectly thanks.
Is their a setting to keep the 3-bar icon floated to the right of the logo even on mobile view? I know I can achieve that with some custom CSS but wondered if their was a setting to do this?.
Check out the mobile header feature: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/mobile-header/
This site is currently using it as well :)
Thanks works great although I will probly have to play around with asmaller versions of the logo so that the toggle menu doesnt wrap onto a 2nd line on mobile view.
Also, I'm using the CSS code from the support section to make it slide-out from the right, but now I've lost the close button/x. Any ideas?
Can you link me to the site?
What CSS are you using?
Hi,
I've opened another thread with other issues which has a preview URL for the site here:

I'm using this CSS:
