Slide in menu missing from mobile

Hi, when a visitor comes to my site, bytherfarm.com on a mobile, the menu is missing. I set it to slide in from the side, but when you click the three bars at the top of the home page, a shaded overlay appears with no writing on it and certainly not the lovely slide-on menu that I had previously. Please could you guide me how to reset it to work as currently visitors on mobile cannot navigate my site.
Kindest,
Liz
Hi Liz,
On mobile, this is how the menu looks on my end: https://share.getcloudapp.com/8LupKKPg
Perhaps you were using an Off Canvas Menu and disabled it now?
One possible reason no menu is being displayed in the Off Canvas Menu is because there is no menu set to the Off Canvas Menu.
You’ll need to set one the Appearance > Customize > Menus.
See this for reference: https://share.getcloudapp.com/qGurGGXK
Kindly let us know how it goes. :)
Hi Fernando,
Yes I switched the off canvas menu off so that visitors could at least navigate the site. I checked that there was a menu set for the off canvas menu. It was set to the personalised menu as per my website on desktop.
It's a bit of a mystery still. I did notice that someone else was having the same issue this morning, so perhaps things got changed in a recent update.
Any other suggestions as I have all the things set on my site as you've suggested.
Kindest,
Liz
Hi there,
just to re-iterate what Fernando has said, see this doc:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/off-canvas-panel-overview/#empty-off-canvas-navigation
if thats what you see ( even if its a full overlay ) then you need to assign a menu to the Location: Off Canvas.
After doing that, make sure to clear any plugin or browser caches.
If theres still a problem, leave the Off Canvas enabled and share a link to where we can see the problem.
Hi,
I've switched off-canvas menu back on for mobile. It is assigned a menu (personalised menu, the same as my desktop menu). Here's the link to see the issue https://bytherfarm.com on a mobile.

I still see the default mobile menu, which points to page caching or CDN as an issue.
But you're running Ezoic on your site, you would need to speak with them to find out whats causing that.
It's probably because I'm turning it off in between speaking with you. Hey-ho, I'll just leave it on the default.
Thanks for trying.

I just replied to your other topic. To save crossing wires. I will mark this one as resolved :)
