I initially installed the wordpress + woocommerce package on siteground, since my main focus is blogging and knowing that woocommerce slows down a site I would like to understand how I can save the modified generatepress theme to reload it once the site is reinstalled using only wordpress without woommerce.

thank you in advance.

Hi there,

what modifications have you made to the theme ? Is it just the Customizer changes you have made ?

yes, also elements and snippets.

1. In Appearance > GeneratePress there is an option to Export ALL settings, this will save a JSON file for all the customizer settings.
2. Elements are a post type and you will need to Export them using the Dashboard > Tools Export.

Both the export options above have Import options too.

3. If you have any CSS in Customizer > Additional CSS then you should copy and paste that into a Text Editor or IDE for offline safe keeping.
4. Likewise with any Snippets you are using.

i think i solved it by deactivating the woocommerce plugin and uninstalling it from wordepress. now from the siteground panel I have the wpress symbol without woocommerce.

That would be the simplest way :)

Glad to hear that
