Site title keeps on showing

Sounds strange - any custom functions added or HTML added to GP Hooks?

If so, there must be some sort of third party way the site title and tagline are being added, possibly through a custom function if no hooks are added?

ofcourse I play around with selected option as suggested by you. Still having the problem. It only happens when I activate the premium GP-plugin.

Ah, that's your navigation logo. It can be found in "Customize > Layout > Primary Navigation".
