Dear sir/madam,
When scrolling through my website (in progress) the page stutters. Ive turned off my scrolling progress bar and transparency of the menu but that didn’t fix it. I work with elementor pro and that plugin could also be the cause, but since it is the menu bar stuttering I thought it could also have to do with the theme (but of course I am not sure). This is a link where you can see it, but sometimes it is much worse: https://www.dropbox.com/s/p3oda548k8raljt/Flickering%20website.mov?dl=0
Best regards,
Florian

May 22, 2017 at 6:31 am #322175EricHi Tom,
Thanks for the suggestion. When I deactivate GP pro while leaving everything else activated the problem disappears. Any idea what I would have to do to next?
Best regards,
Florian
May 22, 2017 at 11:23 am #322325TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperThat makes sense as the sticky nav is a part of GP Premium.
You’ll want to deactivate your other plugins to see what’s causing the sticky nav to glitch.
May 22, 2017 at 7:19 pm #322596EricI deactivated all my plugins except for GP premium and the issue persists, if I deactivate GP premium and none of my other plugins there is no issue. I narrowed it down to the Menu plus part of GP. When I deactivate that everything works well. My menu works fine without the menu plus part but the only thing is then the logo doesn’t appear in my menu, which I want to have of course…
May 22, 2017 at 11:52 pm #322656TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperThe sticky menu is a part of Menu Plus.
Haven’t had any other reports of this, so we need to find what’s unique about your site.
Do you have a fresh install on your server which you can add a sticky menu to? This will allow us to see if the issue can be reproduced in more than one environment.
May 23, 2017 at 12:41 am #322672EricHi Tom,
When I turned off the sticky nav in GP everything worked well, because I realised that for other reasons I made the navigation sticky with css in the past (which I forgot about) so now it was “double” sticky which caused the issue. So everything is settled now.
Thanks!
Florian
