site speed test

Hi guys
Grappling with understanding my site speed tests since moving to GP.
I note the google fonts seem slow to load. But if I'm misreading it, could
someone possibly explain the reading. The link is enclosed.
I chose the fonts from the GP customiser.

Hi there,

Customizer Google fonts are requested from the Google servers - which the theme ha no control over the time it takes to respond.

Recommendations:
1. Remove any font variants ( weights ) that you're not using from Typography > Body:

2. Optionally serve the Fonts Locally - this plugin we have been testing and works really well:
