Issue: Site Logo not displaying after updating image
Checks:
- Cleared browser cache, emptied W3C cache, deactivated W3C plugin
- Deactivated each plugin and checked (with exception of GP/GB)
- Theme/Plugins are up to date
Actions:
- Updated logo image and uploaded to media library; deleted previous logo image
- Updated via Customize > Site Identity > Logo
- Additionally, updated Retina Logo and Sticky Navigation Logo with new updated image
- Rechecked by going back and selecting Remove for each image, Publishing, clearing W3C caches, then Change Logo + Publish again
Any help is appreciated, thanks.
- Note: had also updated Customize > Layout > Header > Logo
Hi there,
You have a merged header element assigned on the home page which I don't believe is needed when looking at your layout:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/transparent-header-and-navigation/
Can you try disabling it first?
Let me know :)
I completely forgot that I had initially added the logo within the Merge/Header Element of the theme.
I added a Display Rules > Exclusion Rule for the Home Page within the Element and BAM! my site logo is back.
Thank you Leo, your time and effort are appreciated.
Pressing on.
No problem :)
