Site library - Service - Disable featured image

Hi. Using "Service" from site library. Wanted to remove the featured image from posts, from everywhere but the heading.
Tried to disable from "disable elements", but it still shows in the regular view on the posts-page. Any way around this?
Hi there,
Are you referring to the featured image here?
If so head to Appearance > Elements and remove the Blog Posts Headers.
Let me know if this helps :)
I have featured image on top of each post on /blog.
The only way to avoid seems to be to remove featured image, but I wanted to use it as a background for the header of the article itself. Disable featured image doesn't apply to the blog view/hook?
Ok so you are trying to remove this image here?
If so use the customizer option:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adjusting-the-featured-images/
Uncheck the Display featured images option under Archives.

I'll look into it, seem to remember this could be solved individually from "disable elements", I might be wrong. And, not that it is a big deal in this case, maybe it's a good idea to at least blur out text when you publish screenshots from a protected site?
There is never an option to disable individual featured images in archives.
I've removed all images.
