site library - 'peak' theme - comment section under blog posts won't show up

hi,
i've imported the 'peak' theme from the site library, but under the single blog post, the comment section will not display.
i've already checked the settings in WP and enabled comments on single posts but doesn't seem to have fixed the issue.
are you able to help me out?
