    Hello,

I’d like to use the site library, yet none of the content is uploaded. While it progresses without error through the spinner loading screen, only some theme options are adjusted. There are no errors on the server log, not even warnings or notices.

I am the server admin. I’m using OpenLiteSpeed and it’s not quite as compatible as Nginx or Apache would be. Nonetheless, its superior speed and caching (currently disabled) compliment GeneratePress well and I’d like to combine them. In other words, switching server software is not a satisfactory solution.

Finally, a hint. I’m getting a 403 when activating the premium plugin. 403 Forbidden. Your server is not able to communicate with generatepress.com in order to activate your license key. I can curl -I generatepress.com and get 200 headers back. There are no issues with FTP, permissions, or downloading other content via WordPress’s internal mechanisms. Obviously, I could drill into the plugin to investigate this more, but I figure at this point it has to do with your end as well so I’m making this support request.

The site is a mere dummy on a subdomain, so I’ll be sharing credentials below. You’ll see there’s nothing complicating this installation: completely fresh with only the premium plugin and theme installed.

Thank you for your assistance. With a little luck, we resolve this problem and I will subscribe indefinitely.

The problem was that cURL was silently failing as a PHP module due to compiling with a data SSL package. Updating cURL solved the problem.
