Hello, I recently imported a construction. site library my question is I don't need all of the extra pages. Also, it came with all pages already published how do I keep those pages from being indexed.

I'm not sure if that's possible since they are already published.

You can just go ahead and remove them if not needed though.

How can you stop them from being published kind of pointless if they are already published which will hurt your over rankings in google?

Please check and give me a correct answer to this I like the site-library but it needs to be more detailed info on how this could affect the website's overall performance since there already been published.

The pages and posts need to be published so they can be served as demo content.

I can't see how that will hurt the rankings on Google?

You can always import it in a staging site then push it live once you've deleted all the content that you don't want.
