Site Images Missing After Update to GP Premium v2.0.1

After updating to GP Premium v2.0.1 my site is now missing a lot of images. None of the background images or the logo that are added through the GP theme disappeared, but a large amount of images I added using Elementor disappeared. These include background images, slider images, and flip-box images. I went back and manually re-added the missing images to the homepage, but there are too many pages for me to do this for the entire website.
Here is what a page looks like with the missing images: https://www.timbercreekconstruction.us/grammon-utility-room-remodel/
Here's what it should look like: https://www.timbercreekconstruction.us/smith-basement-beam/
How can I restore the rest of the missing images?
Hi there,
GP itself doesn't have any control over images added using another plugin. This is likely just a coincidence that it started happening/was noticed after updating GPP.
The issue is that the URLs to the images are incorrect. If you right-click + Inspect the page, you'll see the errors in the "Console" tab.
For example, one of the images has this URL, which doesn't match the URL of the site we're viewing: https://timbercreek.custominternet.biz/wp-content/uploads/Projects/2012/grammon-utility-room-remodel/GrammonUtilityRoomRemodelBeforeSEview2_16.jpg
If you go to that URL, you'll find it doesn't load an image.
What you may need to do is use the Elementor search/replace tool to replace the https://timbercreek.custominternet.biz URLs with the actual URL of the site.
Hope this helps!
Tom,
You are correct. It was just a coincidence the problem and the update both occurred at the same time. It appears some of the URLs from the old staging site inadvertently got carried over and must have just now been cleared from cache. Thank you for helping me with this problem--even though it wasn't actually related to GP! :)
No problem! Glad I could help :)
