Site freezes when left idle

Hi,
I have noticed that on multiple occasions, every time I left my site idle for a while it freezes. When I refresh it, I get a dark blank screen. See the attached photo.
Sometimes it gets back to normal after the second refresh, sometimes I have to completely close the tab and open a new one to use the site again. And am not even logged in.
Do you know what might be causing this?

Hi there,
Any chance you can disable all plugins except GP Premium to eliminate conflicts from other plugins first?

It will be difficult to detect as its occurrence is erratic.
I have upgraded to the latest PHP version. Hopefully, that will fix it.
