Hi Guys,

I have uploaded Site Fav icon As 16px X 16px image as I believe is recommended size ?

So after I uploaded it it's displaying fine but it's very blurry. My questions are:

Is it the correct size for fav icon?
How can I fix this shall I upload a larger image but the problem is when I try to upload it in Site Identity - Site Icon it crops it and expects small size which ends up cutting the logo text.

Hi,

You can upload a 512x512 sized image on the site icon and let WordPress handle the resizing/rescaling so 180x180 and 270x270 favicons won't have any "blurry" issue.

Also, you can skip cropping but clicking the "Skip cropping" button beside the "Crop Image" button.
