Single full width body post or page (to make it stick out)

Hi,
I'm trying to solve one layout question which I haven't solved yet unfortunately.
For specific posts/pages I want to create a full body width background color (while the text stays around 900px). Let me take this website https://playinthezone.com/ (using GeneratePress) as an example, where you can see that some posts/pages have the background image/background color stretched full body width (while the text stays vertically alligned).
I've tried a dozen of things, but haven't found the way to do this.
I hope you can help me!
Best,
Stefan

the simplest method is to set the Page Builder Container to Full Width:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/page-builder-container/
Then use the GenerateBlocks plugin and its Container Block to create Full Width Containers with Contained Content:
Hi,
Thank you David, I've just played around with it and indeed this options makes things easier.
I just wondered how will I build up a homepage from here? Should I design each page individually or create one page and put everything in order. How is this usually done when using GenerateBlocks?
Thanks,
Stefan
Sorry not sure if I understand the question.
I took a quick look at the example page and looks like all pages should be do-able using GP.
Does that answer your question?
