Simple mega menu non clickable column labels

Hello,
In simple mega menu:

How does one go about creating an un-clickable column label
example: using the "About" (column #4, first item)
How can the hover effect be removed and the word About have a static underline?

where should the pointer-event be added in the css to affect the "About" menu item?
also how can it have an underline?
