Hi all. New user to Generate Press and liking it so far. I’ve tried searching for my query before posting here and I haven’t quite found the answer, basically I have a sign up form created and ready to insert into my wordpress. It looks good when I’ve finished creating it but when I insert it into a ‘sections’ area to make a landing page, the form breaks and parts of the form stacks on each other. I’m not able to show my website at the moment which I know will help a lot but I thought maybe someone might have a suggestion or maybe had this issue before and found the issue?
Any input at the moment will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Definitely difficult for us to provide a solution without seeing the site. Maybe a screenshot?
What plugin are you using to create the form? Can you try to insert the form with Sections feature off and see if it works on a regular page?
Let us know.
January 22, 2017 at 2:29 pm #266869AndreHey Leo. Sorry for late reply, I was away from home.
I’m not using a plugin I’m just grabbing the code from the form generator inside the email marketing company (Active Campaign) and pasting it into the sections area when activated. I tried what you suggested and it’s the same with a regular page.
I’ve disabled the maintenance mode plugin I was using so maybe you can have a look at it for me, that will be real nice.howtobecomeanaffiliate.com

January 22, 2017 at 2:49 pm #266872AndreSorry I’m guessing I wasn’t very clear, the signup form in the middle of the page has broken, so what’s happening is the name and email box section are beside the submit button which has also altered for some reason.
Here is how it’s suppose to look.

Thanks.
January 22, 2017 at 3:08 pm #266875LeoStaffCustomer SupportSorry I’m not still not sure how you grabbed the code from http://www.activecampaign.com/?
Anyways GP does not change your content for you regardless what you’ve entered.
You can see that this section is not controlled by GP:

I would suggest adding it into a shortcode:
add_shortcode( 'email_form','andre_email_shortcode' ); function andre_email_shortcode() { ob_start(); ?> Your newsletter code in here <?php return ob_get_clean(); }
Then add your shortcode to the page:
[email_form]

January 23, 2017 at 3:42 am #267009AndreThanks a lot Leo and Tom. You were right about the editor messing up the code Tom, very strange bugs that’s been messing with others too I’ve discovered. Your code snippet suggestion is a great fix. Thank you!
