    Hey Guys πŸ™‚

    i have trouble with my sidebars…every Time I’m allow sidebars – automatically the search widget and archive Widget is activated an I can’t prevent that.

    I look in Customizer-widgets-settings and Designs-Widgets-settings, nothing found.
    But if I activated a random Widget on the left or right sidebar, these two Widgets gone.

    Where is the Problem?

    Thx πŸ™‚

    Hi Kevin,

    When there’s nothing in your sidebar, some default widgets show up in there to fill the empty space (Archives, Search etc..). They’re simply fallbacks. When you add a widget to the widget area, those fallbacks will disappear and your added widget will show up.

    Let me know if this answers your question.

    Why not just change the sidebar layout to no sidebars?: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/sidebar-layout/

    Let me know πŸ™‚

    Hey Tom πŸ™‚

    I want a right Sidebar with Widgets and clear left sidebar. So the content is centered.

    Hmm there’s probably a better way of achieving that. Can you show me an example site that has the look you’re going for?

    Hello Tom thx for your help. I don’t find any Site πŸ˜›

    For this Time I change the layout to “one Container” and change the width of the container πŸ™‚ that works for me. But now the Container is “connected” with the header. It’s now possible to separate them?

    thx Tom πŸ™‚

    Try this:

    .site-header {
        margin-bottom: 20px;
    }
