Sidebar layout for Homepage

Hello
I am trying to set the sidebar layout to "content (no sidebars)" on my homepage but every time I publish, the settings goes to "Global Layout Settings".
Is this a bug ? I work with Safari for mac.
Thank you in advance for your answer.
Petri
Hi Petri,
This usually happens when you were using a theme before that had a page template that no longer exists.
To see if this is the issue, try the following:
1. Go to the "Pages" area of your Dashboard, and find the page you're trying to change the layout of.
2. Click "Quick Edit", and then under "Template", choose "Default Template".
3. Now save, and access the page. You should now be able to use the layout options with no issues.
Let me know :)
YAY !!!
Thanx Tom ! It works !
You're welcome! :)
Hi,
I'm having the exact same problem, but setting the "default template" does not fix.
Is there anything else I can try?
Hi there,
Interesting - I've never had this not work.
Can you possibly send me an email to support@generatepress.com with temp admin access and the name of the problem page so I can take a look?
Thanks!
