Sidebar Issue

Hi,

I'm using the Avery template for my website. The blog post content and the sidebar are very close to each other, also the search bar in the widget isn't showing properly. I want to know how to set the padding between the content area and the right sidebar widget.

One more thing, this particular template is showing the date and author's name twice. Is there a way to remove the duplicate entry?

Hi there,

the Avery site uses a Layout Element titled: Blog Posts Width found in Appearance > Elements ( or when viewing a post you can see it in the Admin Bar > elements ). Delete that Layout as it is setting the single post to be 800px wide.

Hey David,

Thanks for the reply. There is one more problem regarding the Author's name and Date. It is displayed twice in the post. How to correct that issue?

You can remove the date | author from below the image by going to:

Customizer > Layout > Blog - selecting the Single tab:

And uncheck the author and date.
