Hi again!
While I was designing my right sidebar for blog articles, I tried to find and adjust a working color combination between background and font.
Okay, I’ve changed color settings for sidebar widgets in the CUSTOMIZER. Fine.
But then I can’t set different (!) colors in DESIGN>WIDGETS to adjust another color-combination. So my link-color is always white (as set in the CUSTOMIZER) and I can’t turn that to black in DESIGN>WIDGETS, if I want to design an added button.
In other words: The color settings of the CUSTOMIZER are generally set – and there is no way to adjust different settings in DESIGN>WIDGETS. While the Backend DESIGN>WIDGETS shows the correct adjusted color, the published site does not.
What can I do?
THX!

That’s correct.
and there is no way to adjust different settings in DESIGN>WIDGETS.
The widgets area supports blocks now, so you should be able to tweak the colors at the block level.
If the WP core block doesn’t have color settings, you can wrap the title and posts with a GenerateBlocks Containers block, and set the link color for the Container block, the link should inherit the color from the container block.April 4, 2023 at 1:53 pm #2597057Max
Unfortunately I can’t fix this. Added new Container and then added in this container the widget (latest post). For this Container I’ve changed the color settings. Great: The backend shows the correct color (blue).
But then published online the browser did not change text color into blue.
:-/
I’ll do a new shift tomorrow 🙂

StaffCustomer SupportI’m not seeing the newly added GB container, I just tested on my site and it works well.
Make sure you’ve cleared cache so we can take another look.

Hi again!
So I just added a new container and then the post-element – as you can see. I changed font size by container settings – that’s working fine!
But color’s still not changing: Correct color ist displayed at the backend of wordpress. But not online in my browsers. Today from another PC. Browser: Chrome and Firefox.
Strange. Have I missed something? THX

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
what happens if you remove the sidebar link color from the Customiser > Colors
