Hello,
I'm using the theme "Marketer".
I'm trying to change the background color of the right sidebar widget on the top-right. The default color is orange and I'm trying to change it to Blue, but I can't do it.
This is the route I'm taking to do it: Appearance/Customize/Colors/Sidebar Widget. When I
By default, the widget that is on top is "product Highlight". I removed it and left only the widget "Recent Post". When it moves up, it takes the orange color. It seems that whatever widget is in that place (Top-right) it takes the organce color as background.
Thanks..
Hi there,
This should help:

Thanks.
I followed your instructions and was able to change the color to blue in the customizer. Thanks
However, for some unknown reason, the color doesn't change on my home page. It remains orange.
I also use OptimizePress, I don't know if that could be related.
Thanks
Daniel
Likely a caching issue.
Please clear and disable your caching plugin to test.
Thanks Leo.
I checked and realized that the WP super cache plugin was not even active. it was installed but not active. I tried to install it but it gives me an error (Probably something with our server, I asked for help internally) I cleared my browser cache and nothing. I inspected the code in some of the pages the orange color persists, and it seems it hasn't changed. The change of the CSS code hasn't updated on pages for some unknown reason. Any other suggestions before we resolve this issue?
In any case, I'm planning to close this incident and move forward. Will leave this for last.
Thanks and have a good day!
Hey, Leo I solved the issue! I has to "publish" the changes in the CSS. It was in draft mode.
Thanks!
Glad to hear!
